At the INMEX exhibition | Vietnam in March 2013 I had an interesting conversation with a Singaporese business man. I explained we were experts in gears and I was travelling with my husband, CEO of the company, in my role as representative for international affairs.
So you are the boss of the boss!’, he concluded with a big smile. I felt a bit akward but afterwards I realized that my radiance and energy must have been one with a certain level of authority as wife of my CEO-husband.
And indeed: every successful CEO has his spouse standing behind him and thus this lady must be his moral strength!
Let that be visible in your communication towards business relations in a subtle way but don’t become pretentious!
